Call Everest Expedition a legend; call it notorious, whichever you call it, you are emotionally connected to it. The climb over this 8000 m is accomplishing your extraordinary dream in the inhospitable region of Nepal. The peak of the Everest draws in aspiring mountaineers every year, and it holds your attention too because you have an adventurous spirit.
Everest is not just any mountains. The climbing route of Everest comprises of crevasses; some of these are so wide that you have to place three ladders to cross them, and the snow covers some of them. But for mountaineers, this is a part of the Everest Expedition.
While climbing from the base camp to camp I, you will come across the Khumbu Icefall, one of the adventurous parts of the expedition.
You will have to climb serac as well.
To avoid the movement of glacier during sunrise and mid-day, you start expedition early in the morning.

Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Do not worry about the pick up; we will be waiting for you outside the airport to take you to our office and to the hotel.
Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M.
Kathmandu is known as the city of temples, and it is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary.
You will be staying in Thamel, the main tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you are staying in a 5 star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Sightseeing with breakfast and climbing preparations (standard accommodation)
Kathmandu is dotted with world heritage sites, and the most famous of them are mentioned below
- Pashupatinath
- Swayambhunath
- Bouddhanath
- Kathmandu Durbar Square
You will visit each of these with our city guide, and they will take you to the past. Those were the glorious days of Nepal. From your guide, hear the myths, the true story, and the significance of the historical monuments from the religious point of view.

Day 03 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
A short scenic flight of 35 mins shows you the bird’s eye view of the mountains. Most probably, you will catch an early flight to Lukla, the starting point of the Everest Trek. From Lukla, you will head to Phakding, one of the Sherpa villages, located at the edge of the Dudh Kosi River Valley. On the way, you will see the stunning view of the mountain called Kusum Kangaru.
Day 04 From Phakding to Namche Bazaar (four square meals provided, standard accommodation)
Today, you are heading to Monjo, the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park.The trekking trail takes you to the forest of pine and rhododendron. Although you will walk through small villages, the famous ones are Tok Tok and Jorsale.
Before reaching Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa village of Nepal, you will cross the suspension bridge. The trekking trail that you are going to follow goes uphill and makes you tired, but when you reach Namche, you will have enough time to relax yourself.
Day 05 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Being the largest Sherpa village of Nepal, Namche also has interesting places to visit. Its Everest View Hotel is not only famous for unbeatable service, but also for a viewpoint from where you can see the stunning view of the mountains, such as Everest, Thamserku, Kongdi RI, and Ama Dablam. Sherpa Culture Museum, Syangboche Airstrip, and Everest Photo Gallery are on the list that you want to visit.
Day 06 From Namche to Tengboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
If Namche is the largest Sherpa village of Nepal, then you can say that Tengboche is the best spiritual place for the Buddhists, including non-Buddhists. Its monastery is famous all over Nepal. You trek will be incomplete if you do not visit this monastery. To reach Tengboche, you have to walk uphill in the forest where there are small villages and pastures.
As you walk the trekking trail, the view of the mountains keeps on coming to your eyes, especially that of Ama Dablam. In addition to this, you will also see the exceptional view of Everest that will trace on your mind.
Day 07 From Tengboche to Dingboche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you trek from Tengboche to Dingboche, you will come across suspension bridges, not two, but many. There are many small Sherpa villages on the way, and the famous ones are Pangboche and Orsho. The trekking trail passes by maniwalls, and there are colorful prayer flags which flutter in the Himalayan breeze. As you reach Dingboche, you will enjoy the satisfying view of Everest.
Day 08 Acclimatization Day (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
During acclimatization in Namche, you had visited its interesting places. You can do the same in Dingboche by hiking up to Nagarjun hill. From the top of the hill, you will see the spectacular view of Imja Valley, including the mountains, such as Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Everest. Ama Dablam that you see is the world’s most beautiful mountain.
Day 09 From Dingboche to Lobuche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You are heading to the higher altitudes, and you will notice some changes in the geographical features as you come across the snowy region and shrub plants, but the view of the mountains, such as Lingtern, Pumori, and Khumbutse will blow your mind. The villages that you come across are small in size and have fewer villagers.
Compare to Dingboche, Lobuche is small, and its Lobuche Peak is famous in the world. This is the only village where you spend your night by peak.
Day 10 From Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
Today, you are heading to the base of Everest that you have always dreamt of. But first, you have to reach Gorakshep which used to be the base camp for the Everest climbers. You can call this village the last village of the Everest Base Camp Trek. As you head to the base camp, you will walk by the Khumbu Glacier. When you reach there, you will see the Khumbu Icefall.
Day 11-56 Days Climbing of Mount Everest and descend to the base camp (4 meals provided, tented camp)
The Sherpas will set up camps at higher altitudes as well as they will decide the climbing route. They will also cook meals for you, and they will also tell you when to acclimatize. Overcoming technical difficulties while climbing Everest and weather forecasting are undertaken by the Sherpas.
When you reach the summit, you will spend a short time there. The summit offers the best view of all 6000 m, 7000 m, and 8000 m peaks in the world. From the summit, you will retrace the climbing route.
Day 57 From the Everest Base Camp to Gorakshep (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The Sherpas will pack up the climbing equipment, and from the base camp, you will start your trek. You will retrace the trekking trail, and once again, you will reach Gorakshep.
The good news is it is a downhill trekking, and you are enjoying an easy walk.
Day 58 From Gorakshep to Kala Patthar and Pheriche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Before the dawn, you begin to trek from Gorakshep to Kalapathar, a perfect viewpoint to see the view of the mountains that will stay permanently with you.
The sunrise on the Everest peak is so alluring that you want to capture it in your camera. It is an uphill walk to Kalapathar, which is exhausting, but the downhill walk to Pheriche turns the tired journey into a soothing one.
Day 59 From Pheriche to Namche (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Walking downhill is easier than walking uphill, and you can experience this as you reach several villages. You will be walking by the Imja Khola, a river, and once again, you will be reaching reach Tengboche, Phungki Thanka, and Kyangjuma. From the area of shrub plants, you once again reach the forest of pine and rhododendron, but what is consistent is the view of the snow-covered mountains.
Day 60 From Namche to Lukla (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you head to Lukla, you will once again see the colorful Buddhist prayer flags and come across chortens, mani walls, and gompas. Crossing the suspension bridges over the glaciated Dudh Kosi River reminds you of the beginning of your Everest journey. Finally, from Cheplung, you will head to Lukla.
Day 61 Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Once again, it is time to enjoy the aerial view of the mountains from the window of a plane. After landing at the airport in Kathmandu, you will either be taken to our office or to the hotel.
Day 62 Rest Day in Kathmandu (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Visit the interesting places in Thamel, and buy souvenirs for your friends and relatives. We have included this day in your itinerary in case your “Kathmandu flight” gets cancelled due to bad weather in Lukla.
Day 63 Departure (breakfast provided)
Before three hours of your international flight, we will come to pick you at the hotel and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. Good bye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey.
