When you are trekking in Nepal, especially in the Everest Region, there are no shortages of beautiful scenes which you are thinking of taking their photographs in your trip as well as in your life.
Jiri is the oldest starting point of the Everest Base Camp Trek; it was also the starting point for the famous mountaineers in the 1960’s and 1970’s and continues to be so in the days to come. With the passage of time, the road has been constructed to link Jiri with Bhandar, so instead of saying Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek, how about saying Bhandar Everest Base Camp Trek.
The trekking trails that will take you to the Everest Base Camp from Jiri make you think how the famous mountaineers had walked at that time. Its condition will also make you compare how they had walked with such equipment and how you are walking with the advanced equipment invented by the best of the human minds.
Everest draws the attraction of the trekkers living across the world, while it is the mountain of the religious significance to the Sherpa people living in that part of the world. This region has been included in the Sacred Himalayan Landscape by the World Wildlife Fund.
