The best trekking months suitable for trekking up to the base camp of Mardi Himal are from September to April, and the itinerary of the Mardi Himal Base Camp is one of the best that the trekkers like because it has forest camp, high camp, and low camp that sound like a trip having a combination of both trekking and expedition.
Day 01 Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (standard accommodation)
Arrive in Kathmandu on the date that you have planned for or at the most suitable time you have decided. Do not worry about the pick up; we will be waiting for you outside the airport to take you to our office and to the hotel.
Our office remains open from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M.
Kathmandu is known as the city of temples, and it is the most developed city in Nepal as we write these words in this itinerary.
You will be staying in Thamel, the main tourist hub in Kathmandu. If you are staying in a 5 star hotel, it will be outside Thamel.
Day 02 Drive From Kathmandu to Pokhara (breakfast provided, standard accommodation)
Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, where you have spend your night, from there, you head to Pokhara, the city of lakes. As you are heading to Pokhara, you are in the Pirthivi Highway and by the Trishuli River, a famous river for rafting in Nepal. Pirthivi Narayan Shah was a King, who played a great role in the unification of Nepal. At Pokhara, you spend a night in the hotel by the lake from where you can see a magnificent view of Fishtail Mountain.
Day 03 Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
Phedi is the starting point of the Mardi Himal Trekking that takes you to stone steps, terraced fields, villages and forest before you step into Dhampus, a popular village for the trekkers. From there, you head to Deurali, another popular village, which shows you the breath-taking view of the Annapurna South, Mardi Himal, and Macchhapuchhare.
Day 04 From Deurali to the Forest Camp (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail takes you to the forest of rhododendron, and as you are there, you will find it quiet, and this goes on until you reach the Forest Camp. After reaching the camp, you will take a rest, and if you are interested, then you can explore the interesting area that is in and around the camp.
Day 05 From the Forest Camp to the Low Camp (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
As you walk the trekking trail, you admire the beauties that are on the way that are in the distance. Looking at their beauties and walking off the beaten trail, you head to the Low Camp. The stunning view of the Fishtail Tail Mountain keeps on coming to your eyes and fulfills the hunger of your eyes. This, you can say as one of the main highlights of the Low Camp.
Day 06 From the Low Camp to the High Camp (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You walk on the ridge of the hill, seeing Mardi Himal and Fishtail. Since you are heading to a higher altitude, the vegetation becomes thinner and thinner. As you climb more uphill, the sight of the mountain becomes closer. You reach the High Camp in this way.
Day 07 From the High Camp to the Upper Viewpoint (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
You head to the Upper Viewpoint, but the trekking trail goes uphill and downhill, and it becomes narrow and steep and makes your journey adventurous. From the Upper Viewpoint, you will see the stunning view of Mardi Himal (5587m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7647m), Tent Peak (5695m), Singhachuli (6501m), and Machapuchhre (6993m).
Day 08 From the High camp to Sidhing Village (4 meals provided, standard accommodation)
The trekking trail takes you to Sidhing, and on the way, it shows you the stunning view of the snow-covered mountains. Sidhing is an isolated village, and the trekking to it is a solitary trekking trail.
Day 09 From Sidhing to Lumre, drive to Pokhara and fly to Kathmandu (breakfast and lunch provided, standard accommodation)
You will follow the trekking trail that goes downhill to Lumre, from where you have started your trek, and then you catch a bus to Pokhara in order to fly to Kathmandu.
Day 10 Departure (breakfast provided)
Prior to three hours of your international flight, we will come to pick you at the hotel and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport. Good bye, and we wish you good luck for a safe journey
